Maybe we're different for a reason... who knows.
[I know. I know the reason we're different. I see it in the sky.]

Khoshekh is nursery bean number 532. He is the bottom boy in the batch and was kept by me. I am his first owner.
He was designed by Berkshire on November 15th. I was his official owner on November 16th. Living Location: Lives in a huge house with his father, brother, and other beans that William takes in, like his cousin Seamus. Will get his own apartment {bought by William} when he becomes a teen. Fears: Being like everyone else, being normal, losing his sight, not being able to see the sky, women talking to him a ton {Trinket is exception} Pets or helpers: Two doves, Archimedes and Novation, and a Great Horned Owl named Peep, courtesy of Bra'Dach. Glasses/Contacts: Wears thick, square glasses, though they're not needed. Just for show, mainly: gives to the whole ideal he'll look smarter. Left/Right handed: Ambidextrous, but stronger in left hand. Distinguishing features: Physically weak, his left ear flops up more slightly. Style: Elegant, Classy, Geeky, Awkward, Goofy, and Formal. Attire: A black, purple, and white scarf with a secret police badge, along with a grey bandana tied under his ears in a thin line. Five wrist bands, hiked up his arms: on the left, respectively, with Dale, Sollux, and Beth, and the latter on his right both William and Cecil. His attire he never, ever goes anywhere without {including during his sleeping hours} is his radio headsets. Most often he carries around a heart beat monitor and health multitask-er, often on his hip or leg. Other outfits one might find in his wardrobe: Formal wear, and 'Sollux' wear: blue and red 'hipster' glasses, along with whatever else's of Sollux he can steal without the older bean noticing. Which, is never much. Otherwise, often a clean western shirt [most often white] or a long sleeved collared shirt with a vest. Jewelry: Glow stick necklace from Cecil. Other accessories: Feather from Dale, glasses mimicking Striders glasses, or the 'Sollux based glasses'. Weapons: Small pocket knife, poison darts. Health: Very poor, weak, and sickly. Hygiene: Impeccable hygiene. Quite known through the family for unnecessarily throwing away money: ex, a chair getting food on it, and buying a new one because the chair has been 'ruined' by a piece of pasta. Physical Flaws: Very weak, not proportionate, and is very skinny. Is also deaf in his right ear. Physical Qualities: Acts very catlike, sometimes overly affectionate. |
There are glowing arrows in the sky. You can’t see them. I do. There are dotted lines and arrows and circles. The sky is a chart that explains the entire world. But you can’t see it. I know that. The world makes sense. I believe that. I do. It has to. Otherwise… it wouldn’t make sense! And that would be the worst thing that could possibly happen.
Khoshekh is much like a cat. His name also is the seventh plague of Egyptian Exodus, 'darkness.' He is a little astronomer boy because of his nightvale past with his family, and is very much like a typical nightvale civilian. He claims to see the "lines in the sky" like Steve Carlsburg and loves the sky and stars. He's weak and sickly and fragile, unlike the rest of his family, and the terming 'cats have nine lives' doesn't really pertain to him. Due to complications he was born this way, but he is driven to prove that it isn't like that at all. He attempts to play with others, although he enjoys beating them in video games, to which he's very skilled from his long hours sitting on gaming consoles as he isn't allowed outside much, but he still will try his best in a game of tag, or wrestling.
He loves his family very, very much and is very logical and often silent, not speaking that much around anyone but his family. When he does speak, he's not childish at all, often blunt and overly honest. Extremely blunt too, and while he believes in things like the alchemists belief 'as above, as below' but doesn't believe in 'childish tales' like Santa, dragons, or most mythical creatures. While he is logical and smart, he's very intelligent and a quick thinker. However, he doesn't have much common sense in things like love, friendship, the newest trends, or of the like. He isn't studious, but loves watching others work or wonder how things like time 'exist' and bother people with his brutal honesty. He's a 'silent concerner' which basically means, he's extremely concerned if you happen to be his friend or some sort of acquaintance, but he won't say a word. He is family orientated and has learned to rely on others his whole life. |
Balance: Generally nimble, swift, with excellent balance unless another bean, or force such as an animal or a tree branch, happens to touch or hit him. Tries to keep himself as sturdy as possible.
Mannerisms/Poses/Movement: Often sits in a guarded way, with his tail around himself or his paws close to his body. If sitting, he generally crosses his legs at his ankles, and often awkwardly stands with his hands in his pockets, or fidgets with his scarf if nervous. His walk: Walks with more pressure on his toes, uses his heels a lot, especially when going down stairs. Shows a lack of confidence in his walking, Fighting style: In video games, he often charges into situations blindedly, but if ever caught in a fight, he would submit as best he could and try to refuse contact, using the elements around him. Habits/OCDs/Obsessions: He often speaks into his radio headsets, murmuring comments or phrases. He always leaves the recording on, even if he's playing music. Khoshekh must always check his patches under his scarf and tie every day to make sure they're utterly perfect. Speech Patterns: Slurs occasionally, uses rough 'Western' language sometimes, otherwise uses a very formal. Around people that he doesn't feel need to uphold his iron barrier, he happens to have a particularly lighter voice, and speaks much like a child, regardless of his age. Unique phrases/words: Constantly reuses words, as in a sentence such as, 'he silently walked down the hallway, and silently opened the door.' Cursing: Khoshekh doesn't curse much, but if he does, its a long continuous train of curse words in a sentence. He often holds himself with some sort of regality, and doesn't curse unless circumstance called for it. Dialect Section: "Your true love? Can't find them? Don't worry. We'll see where they are. We have satellites. They can't possibly hide forever." Voice: Takes on the voice of a younger Andrew Lincoln. His laugh: Khoshekh often giggles rather than laughs, but when he does, its normally a loud chuckle that continues. Its very light and airy. Sleep patterns: A heavy sleeper, but doesn't take a long time to wake up. His dwelling/house: Very large, spacious house. Lives with his father, brother, and cousin Seamus, along with whatever other bean's happen to come into the house to stay. William designed the house, and it consists of four different levels, two above and two below. The house also is set into different wings, which are used for the Chesiam family staying in one, any other visitors in another, other wing for nerf gun fights, ect. Very large, expensive house: paid off by William's status. His bedroom: Very clean room, shares with Cecil even though he doesn't have to. His computer and whole set up isn't in his room, but music is. His daily rituals: Before bed he exports his headset data onto old fashion records, along with CD's, which is done through the computer. Must let Cecil know of his day. Must read Cecil a bedtime story every night. . |
You're my favourite song, my sing-along: you shine bright like lighters in the dark, and you're my clarity, the best part of me.
Intelligence Level: High intelligence. At the age of ten, his IQ is 165.
Known Languages: English, German, Finnish, Latin. Long-term goals: Find a job he likes and would like to pursue. Short-term Goals: Beat Sollux in a video game, get a confession from Dale. Secret desires: Wishes to be acknowledged and understood, particularly seeks recognition from women due to his mother leaving. Due to William not seeing how Khoshekh does, he wants to be acknowledged and treated by someone as if he's their son, as his father doesn't uphold the proper fatherly role that Khoshekh believes that both him and his brother deserve. Self Confidence: Has a high level of self confidence. No self esteem issues present and believes in himself highly and his ideals, and ideas. Sense of self: He sees himself as a rather just, logical person who has all the answers to everyone. Khoshekh feels that he's right but won't share his answers, as they are for him only, and doesn't feel other people are as privileged as him and do not get the wisdom he has unless proven to him. His belief of how he is perceived by others?: Khoshekh feels he's right and therefore others should look up to him, and give him respect, though he acts docile and says he doesn't need respect. He believes everyone hates him, and therefore by adapting and temporarily acting in ways they do, that they will begin to like him more. Proudest Trait: Loves his introversion, and his smarts, logics, and rationality that he posses. Hated Trait: His weakness, lack of strength. How he expresses: Khoshekh expresses by his love of spreading information, and his almost obsessive playing of video games. Dominant or submissive: Submissive generally, but if forced, Khoshekh will use passive aggressive tactics. Rarely dominant unless in a known subject, but quipped to subliminally anger without knowing. Ex: on being surprised, Khoshekh normally throws grass. The reason behind this being him declaring 'since his father said no violence, I'll use grass instead.' Patience level: An extremely high patience level, as he adapts to who he is talking to, and will therefore become like them temporarily. Runs my emotion, logic, or a combination: Mainly logic, except for if his brother or father is involved. Most at ease when: With his family. Not at ease when: Surrounded by 'idiots' or 'those who are blind' as he doesn't feel comfortable. Sense of humor: Has a dry sense of humor. His wish: To not be bound by affliction, and to become well known, famous, and to stay single. Romances are 'too time consuming.' Character/Personality/Mental/Social Strengths: Extremely intelligent, adaptive, especially psychological, good at keeping peace most of the time. Character/Personality/Mental/Social Flaws: Doesn't relate to other bean's emotions much, Khoshekh adapts to they're attitudes and therefore acts like them so he's likable, but he isn't really truly sympathetic, he doesn't understand social protocol, like giving a hug to someone you haven't seen in a while or flirting back with someone who's flirting. Represented best by one of the seven virtues: Temperance Represented best by one of the seven sins: Pride Biggest Vulnerability: His brother and father being injured: something happening to Cecil, as he's most vulnerable physically everywhere. Optimist or Pessimist: Both. In a situation of 'the glass with water', where Khoshekh says an optimist sees it half full, a pessimist sees it half empty, and a realist sees it as full: Khoshekh deems himself not only 'all of the above, but a truthseeker as well!' in quite loud tones. He always follows up with the questions of is it really water, why is the water all over the floor, and why is the water causing his closet to make demonic noises. Introvert or extrovert: Introverted, but will happily speak if needed, as he loves sharing his ideas with others, but only if comfortable. Greatest Fear: Losing the sky, becoming separated from his family (especially his brother) and someone kidnapping him. Phobias: Consecotaleophobia: fear of chopsticks, to be added as they come up. Emotional/psychological/social peculiarities: Very apathetic, not understanding of social customs, and not really romantic. For example, if he brought a romantic interest over, the RI would have to initiate anything like cuddling, kissing, or conversation. Khoshekh would most likely treat them like their his best friend rather than a romantic interest, offering to play video games, watch a history movie, or the like. They would have to initiate anything different. He adjusts to everyone's personality, quickly analyzing them and adapting to them so they might like him better. Khoshekh understands that if he's relatable then they'll be more willing to become his friend, as he would seem familiar and trustworthy. On top of that, he takes things and copies them- such as direct lines from Welcome to Night Vale or perhaps Sherlock Holmes: perhaps in essence of becoming something more, or something less. Biggest regret: N/A so far. Other regrets: Changing the hubcaps on the car. Biggest accomplishment: Creating his headsets. They're most of the time playing music, and always constantly recording. We're not sure how they stay operated, but whenever he returns home, he puts all the audio logs on files to where he can always re-access them. Not may people know the audio is always recording since there's music playing, but with his dad's help and good programming skills, it does both at once. He helped build them, meaning he actually made them himself with the help of his father. No one but Cecil is allowed to hear the audio logs, except for occasionally William, as he likes to see what his son is doing. Word is that he's also working on installing a video camera somewhere, but we'll see about that. Minor accomplishments: Learning how to make scones, (though they're rather dry, he likes them like that. He claims its a test to see who is polite and who isn't.) and finally changing the hubcaps on his Toyota. Musical talents/instruments: Only things he can manipulate on the computer. Doesn't take interest in much else but Classical, but he has a knack for listening to Taylor Swift and Panic! At the Disco. Deepest secrets: He's a part of Strexcorp, unlike his Nightvale family. This comes from Cheshire; also a huge fan of Taylor Swift. Minor Secrets: Doesn't like many people, white lies a bit, has a fear of women which causes a huge dislike. Truthfully, he knows his arrows and lines in the sky are actually caused by hallucinations, but he would never admit it. |
Relationship Skills: Terrible relationship skills, but this doesn't include William or Cecil. May show some caring if he likes the person or reveres them, such as Moriarty. He's rather odd and perhaps two sided: one moment fighting and the other moment flopping on the victim and declaring his profound love.
Girlfriend/Boyfriend: Dale Best Friend: Cecil Friends: Dale, Tuesday, Friska, Helix, Kocha, Maylie, Carter, Seeley, Haru, Toklo, a reluctant Jagger, Sollux, Jehan, Harley, Jean Confident/Mentor: Sollux Hates: No one Dislikes: Fission {slightly, for he is rather loud}, Edie Rivals: No one Pets: Two doves, Archimedes and Novation, and a Great Horned Owl named Peep, courtesy of Bra'Dach. Perfect Partner: Someone who would take charge, give him a sense of true security and protection, someone who he could be normal around without worrying about the 'sky' interfering. His perfect partner would be someone who would let Khoshekh learn about things {like cuddling} with either not pointing out or nicely reaffirming Khoshekh of any bad or mean behavior. Is he judgmental of others: Yes. He believes that everyone his below him, despite the fact he's terrified of girls. How is he perceived by... Strangers?: Doesn't look sickly from a distance, and only looks weird with his teeth. A complete weirdo once he starts talking, and often told to be avoided. Friends?: Considered a good confident, a little weird. If you know him well enough, you'll see he's constantly in the art of plagurizing and copying other people. Coworker/Colleague?: Non applicable. Lovers?: Non applicable. Sense of trust: Doesn't trust people easily. Types of individuals does he like or associate with: People he can adapt to easily, who understand him and don't challenge him in his beliefs. He does enjoy challenges if not on beliefs, like in wrestling or video games. Types of individuals doesn't he like or associate with: People who challenge him. Individuals who claim him 'weird' do not bother him. How he treats members of the opposite sex? Treats them in a very scared, quiet fashion. Doesn't make any 'sudden movements' and is on constant edge. How he treats members of the same sex: Attempts to be passive aggressive for dominance. What family/friends like most about him: Friends enjoy his good mixtapes, buoyant nature, and generally laid-back attitude. What family/friends like least about him: His self image, how he holds himself, and his intelligence. Partially his obsession with music, especially Panic! At the Disco, and Taylor Swift. Its rumoured there's even a dedication to her in his house somewhere, and he just won't possibly shut up about his love for her music. |
I may be a doctor, but not the kind that helps people.
His sense of morals: Decent morals. Goes by Nightvale standards, thinks in a StrexCorp way. Affectionately calls Strex 'StressCorp' despite the fact thats the side he's on. Lives highly on Nightvale messages, warnings, and the radio broadcast.
Summing up the meaning of life, he would say: Forty two. And the sky is the meaning of life, because it is life. What do they consider taboo: Supporting "Vampirism" His etiquette: Decently well mannered. Since he considers himself some sort of respectable figure or 'god' he often acts with a touch of daint and regality. Otherwise, he doesn't care and is rather agressive. His sense of self-control: Very good self control, until you criticize him or something similar.. Spontaneous or structured: Spontaneous. Not really structured in anything, often erratic. May continue old habits but generally not in the same order consistently. Instinctual or logical: Logical mainly, instinctual occurs seldom. How he acts in public: Acts with a very high sense of dignity, and pride. Not to be called cocky or arrogant, he merely sees himself as the best, in almost a god-like complex. This may derive from his history and past with "The Smiling God" as someone he looked up to. How he acts in privacy: Listens to his music a ton, is very quiet for once. Often is pulled into a deep thought or trance, and is very involved in whatever he happens to be doing if he is alone. How he acts around strangers vs. how he acts around friends?: Friends can see the true side of Khoshekh. Once established about his beliefs and the sky, Khoshekh acts pretty normal. He doesn't bring up the subject of what he sees, and enjoys sharing things like current events, video games, and the things he's watched on the history channel. How he acts around family?: Acts pretty decently normal for the most part, joining in family games or friendly competition, enjoys doing household things like baking, cooking, cleaning, programming, playing music over the intercom {since the house is equipped with it} How has he most changed from youth?: Not applicable yet and will be finished. How have they remained the same?: Same as above. Will be added whenever he's a teen or an adult. How does the character view life? L How does the character view death? How does the character view society? How does the character imagine his/her own death? Khoshekh would imagine his death to be something of a spectacle: probably because he thinks so high of himself, that he'd imagine it'll be something like a cinematic. Thats probably quite the contrary, considering Khoshekh is really weak, and the oncurring joke between his father and... whoever the hell his father happened to even talk to (seriously, when did William get any friends?) is that Khosh might just happen to fly away with the wind and die of some poor sinus infection or some sort. What does the character want out of life? What does this character consider "success" to be? What would the character like to change in his/her life? What motivates this character? What discourages this character? What makes this character happy? What makes this character sad? Its not really said what makes Khoshekh sad. He doesn't really seem said by anything except his friends not telling him things, or not being accepted. Nothing else has really been shown to make him sad. What makes this character angry? What humiliates this character? What most describes this character's personality? Adaptive would be the most descriptive. Either adaptive, or a pure copy-cat. Psychoanalysis: Something here rip Does it stem from childhood or an event, or chemical? |
How he deals with or reacts to:
Conflict/Danger: Tries to either calm down the situation, but if he can't, he either freezes or puffs up and tries to attack verbally. Rejection: Isn't bothered by it too much, as he doesn't seek things often. Fear: Khoshekh freezes and puffs up like a cat, or flees. Change: Doesn't mind it unless its pertaining to his family. Loss: Loss doesn't concern Khoshekh. Flirting: He isn't sure how to react to flirting, and is completely oblivious to it. He may unintentionally flirt, but its very rare, as he's very brazen and honest to everyone, and not many are appealing to him looks wise. Pain: Khoshekh stays quiet about pain and doesn't complain, as he is in constant pain from his illness. Stress: Stress could possibly be Khoshekh's middle name, if it wasn't Jenkins. He deals with stress very well, but after a situation is over, more over than not you'll find the young lad sitting silent on the floor with his head against the wall. Peer pressure: Peer pressure does not influence Khoshekh directly: Khoshekh adapts due to the subliminal peer pressure. Guilt: It won't trouble him at first, but after a while it'll start to feel weird and begin to bug him before he fixes the problem, or apologies. If he never does either, he forever remembers the weird incident or whatever happened. Being wrong: Khoshekh feels he is never wrong, and if he is wrong, he doesn't really admit it. The most you'll get is probably a quiet sorry from him. Being criticized: Takes criticism terribly. Will actively defend his beliefs and what he does. Being insulted (superficially: name calling, etc): Doesn't care much about insults. He might call others names, but he replies with 'I'm better than that' Offending others: Depends on who, and for what reason. Normally, Khoshekh isn't too particular, especially if offending someone over gender. Praise: Absolutely loves praise. Being loved: Being hated: Humiliation: He acts oblivious, How does this character express? Anger: Whenever angry, Khoshekh tends to slam himself on the floor. Its a rather odd sight, as he'll start to grovel, as if submissively giving up to whatever anger he has. He'll normally hit his head repeatedly and lay on the floor. This occasion has only been seen by his father and brother. Sadness: He tends to mope around. Fear: Happiness/Excitement: Love (Consider the "Five Languages of Love"): Very, very awkward about everything. Either its awkward for him, or awkward for the other person. Examples would be staring at his brother for long periods of time, patting other people's heads in a show of affection, or trying to climb on top of their fridges. Lust: Gets very, very, extremely frustrated {no pun intended} and happens to mutter lots, and try to remove himself from the situation. If he's alone, he normally subliminally punishes himself by sitting in a corner with his head on the floor. Stress/anxiety: Copes very well, and it doesn't normally bother him: unless, again, its due to some sort of critcism or someone name calling him. Dislike: Deals with dislike very well. You couldn't tell until he begins to dislike you so much he becomes sardonic: then Khoshekh becomes utterly cruel through insults and words. Thankfully, he doesn't dislike anyone or hate anyone enough to even call them a moron. On ideas, however, Khoshekh will state his blatant disrespect for an idea or object if the idea or issue is pressed. Approval: Approval makes him extremely happy. Expecially if its approval by someone else, or approval into a group, Khoshekh treats this especially happily. How does he generally express himself?: Generally expressing himself in music, Khoshekh may be seen as an introvert, though he enjoys beating others in chess, video games, and does the occasional singing. While his impersonations are terrible, ironically his singing is pretty on key: its rare for someone to hear him sing, though. What does this character think/feel about? Marriage: Marriage doesn't concern him. Children: Doesn't like children. Family/Family Values: Responds extremely well to any family values. Children/Youth: Old age: Sex: He's not all that sure on what to think about it. Its a little- no, really confusing, Love: Friendship/Other relationships: Homosexuality: Supports homosexuality, as he is asexual panromantic. Khoshekh says this loosely, as some people he's attracted to immediately, and others its more of a demi-panromantic ordeal. He is not termed as someone who is 'gender blind,' but is okay with both genders, beans who do not conform to a gender, beans who don't identify with their gender, or the like. While he is scared of girls {or those who look like girls} Khoshekh still finds them attractive. The opposite sex: Khoshekh actually has a reverence and fear for girls, so therefore he's generally extremely docile and quiet around them. The same sex: Tries to be friendly, but if offended, will immediately act dominant. Money/Material things: He doesn't have the same respect to money that his father does. He often spends it carelessly, Politics: Religion: Destiny/Duty: Magic/Myth: Happily embraces myth and magic. Supports not only a smiling god, but the greek and roman gods as well. Racism/Races in general: Khoshekh loves everyone- unless they're a girl. Colors don't matter, and he gets very defensive over this. Science/Technology: Nature/Animals: Modernity: Antiquity: Their past: Their future: Their role in society/job/etc: Drugs and alcohol: Doesn't condemn nor participate in drugs or alcohol. He does, however, not want to partake in things like cocaine or heroine: he may partake in smoking or drinking if someone offers him when he's older. Killing/Murder: Weirdly enough, Khoshekh is totally fine with murder, killing, and death. He might term it as something "more humane, even if its not humane for the living." Education: The foreign/unknown: |
